His laugh makes me smile. This is the reason why I want to get into journalism. I want to get inside the minds of these musicians. Tupac was gifted, charming, profound, brilliant and the one rapper who is able to convey so much emotions in a song. I’m from the West Coast so I grew up listening to them play him 24/7 and it stuck. The day Tupac passed away, I was young but you could feel the sadness through the airwaves. Tupac was a revolutionary and it’s sad that he was taken too young, one wonder’s what he could’ve been capable of if he was still alive… Rest In Power: Tupac Amaru Shakur.

The Rose that Grew from Concrete
Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature’s law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it’s dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared. – Tupac
