Deep and Ben Boogie are The 2 Hungry Bros and they’re producing for the AOK Collective so we should be expecting to hear a lot more from them. In this interview, we discuss their upcoming projects, AOK Collective and their future projects.
Who are the 2 Hungry Bros?
The 2 Hungry Bros are Deep & Ben Boogie, 2 Nuyoricans from the Lower East Side who have grown up side by side since we were 5 yrs young! We grew up with a soundtrack and a common menu, especially since we grew up across the street from each other. Our lives have lead us down different paths and interests but after our school years were done it was back to music and food again! The 2 Hungry Bros are now producers for the AOK COLLECTIVE and great party dj’s.

Blu and Exile as Jay and Silent Bob? Lol. I can see why. This is such a classic video. I laughed so hard when I saw this. I was lucky enough to interview Exile and he’s such a hilarious person indeed and Blu? It’s so refreshing to see him in this kind of light. Lol. I love this! [They're so lit! Hah!]

Mobb Deep’s The Infamous is the anthem! I would bump this album in high school religiously. I was so mad when Prodigy signed with G Unit and started shouting out how G Unit saved his life and not Jesus. Don’t even get me started on the tattoo. :/ Let’s take it back to that realness.

#Fact: In junior high, I was labeled as the Wu Tang girl, I was rocking the Wu Wear gear and reciting the lyrics. That was the good old days. Speaking of the good old days, Method Man and Ghostface talk about a fire extinguisher incident where Meth was almost killed because of it. “I’m fucked up but I’m not getting up.” – Meth.

“I got the shotgun, you got the briefcase… It’s all the game right?”
This is by far the greatest television show! There are too many quotable’s from this show but this is a clip of the top 100. My favorite scene is missing but to find out which one it is, click the jump…
